Family Friendly Mini-Bioblitz

Saturday 8th June 2024
11am-4pm (Drop-in)
Next to Netherfield Chapel Carpark (what3words//maker.knots.lows)

What is a bioblitz? - a bioblitz helps us to get a picture of a specific area’s biodiversity. It helps us understand what plants, animals and other creatures live in a specific area.

You’ll be amazed at how many different plants, animals, insects and more live around you! Join us to find out what’s living on your doorstep!

We hope to form stronger connections between people and the natural spaces in their urban communities. Join us in Netherfield and Beanhill to explore the environment around where we live and find out what nature is there right under our noses!

Activities:

Mini beast hunt
Bug bingo
Finding and identifying leaf shapes
Scavenger hunt
