Fiona Venables
Director

As Director, my role is to provide leadership and to maintain a strategic overview of all aspects of the Arts Centre’s work, reporting to our Board of Trustees. I support our team of staff and volunteers, the artists with which we work and Milton Keynes communities in co-developing programmes of work that are ambitious, exciting and accessible to all; that improve people’s lives and have a lasting legacy.

My role is to oversee the day to day running of Milton Keynes Arts Centre, this includes financial reporting duties, governance, site maintenance and staff rotas. I work with my colleagues at the Arts Centre to provide a safe and caring environment as a platform to support our programme of events, workshops and artists in residence.
Claire Sapsford
Communications and Partnerships

My role is to find meaningful ways to connect people to the work we do. Through building social networks, looking after media and press relations and overseeing the Arts Centre’s digital and print communications I am able to support my colleagues share our projects and increase engagement with our communities, artists and friends.

Sarah Steenhorst
Learning and Participation

Through facilitating conversations and collaborations between artists and communities, my role enables me to nurture the co-development of project ideas from inception to outcome. As Learning and Participation Coordinator, bringing people together to engage in artist-led events and workshops is a big part of what I do, and fundamental to the success of the Arts Centre’s aims to support the co-creation of art between our communities and the artists we work with.

Emily Young
Commercial and Development

My role is to manage and increase commercial opportunities as a way of supporting our charity’s valuable work.

I coordinate the channels that are key to providing vital income including venue hires and creative learning courses, alongside finding new financial opportunities which help to grow the Arts Centre’s public programmes.

Daniel Chehade
Online Curator

I work with the whole team to create an effective online presence for the programme at Milton Keynes Arts Centre. I’m currently using this time to completely re-think how we can use the website and the other online platforms to better connect and represent what goes on at the Arts Centre, to improve how we work with artists and communities online.

If you would like to contact me or get involved in the online programme email projects@miltonkeynesartscentre.org
