Join Milton Keynes Arts Centre and resident artist Emma Cousin for an evening of spoken word performance with a special Milton Keynes edition of Unperforming featuring Louise Ashcroft and friends.
Unperforming is an ongoing series of energetic performance that has a darkly comic thread to them and are very varied. Ashcroft will present the events and guide the audience between each of the happenings.
Unperformance is: a joyride through a junk-food tapas of anarcho-hedonistic performance clutter, with a selection of short, live works by selected artists.
Unperforming is: your feeble masculinity, fake weather, the shopping channel, teeth-shaped fingernails, the lactobacillus menu, a human radio, and dogs breeding humans in weird shapes (like we do to them).
