What will be covered in the workshop?
Join textile and fibre artist Ciara Callaghan in a trick or treat tote bag stencilling workshop using spooky stencils. During the demonstration, participants will learn how to achieve different colours from just one natural ink using different household modifiers.
Families of all ages are welcome to watch the demonstration for free as we live stream on Zoom. For those wanting to give it a go alongside Ciara, materials can be purchased at the time of booking with collection from Milton Keynes Arts Centre on the dates listed below.
If you would like to have a go at dyeing your tote bag with natural dyes beforehand, watch Ciara’s recent online creative learning video on Making Natural Dyeshere.
