In celebration of MK50, Milton Keynes Arts Centre commissioned Tom Dale’s Terminal Blue to be flown by plane across the skyline of Milton Keynes. This giant-sized colour swatch details the shift from dark blue to light blue, giving us the opportunity to make a comparison between the swatch and the colour of the sky.

Uniting the city in an event that will bring people out into the city’s central spaces, together witnessing the flight of Terminal Blue, the first time the artwork will be flown in the UK. Through sharing the hashtag #CityLife, Milton Keynes Arts Centre aim to create a city wide profile through its residents, shared on social media.
