What will be covered in the class?
Join popular ceramicist Andrew Macdermott for this one day Sculpting intensive workshop: providing students with a range of skills and techniques to create ceramic sculptures. You could make animals, the human form or create abstract, expressionist pieces. You will experiment with materials and approaches to form a main piece by the end of the day.
One your work is fired, students will be able to collect their work at a later date.

Tutor
Andrew Macdermott is a product of evening pottery classes at Milton Keynes Arts Centre. ‘I fell in love with the tactile clay immediately and now a few years on I teach the class I learnt in.’ Andy makes and sells Icelandic-inspired ceramic pieces at craft fairs and galleries across the country.
