We are booking up to 12 people on this course, on the understanding that from 21 June all social distancing measures will be relaxed. If this is not the case, we will ask the last 6 people who joined to transfer onto the next available course.

Who is this class suitable for?
Ages 16+
Suitable for any level of experience.
What will be covered in the class?
Join artist Sara Myers for five life drawing sessions, designed to celebrate being back in the life drawing studio. This course will introduce several different optional exercises to help approach drawing in a different way. This class structure suits those with and without experience in life drawing.
Week 1: Bish, bash, bosh. All short poses with inventive fun exercises.
Week 2: Short to long poses focussing on expression.
Week 3: Tonal study on long pose using charcoal or pencil
Week 4: Extreme eyelines
Week 5: Class requests
What will I need to bring?
Materials are included. Easels, sugar paper and charcoal will be provided.
You are welcome to bring materials you’d like to experiment with. Aprons are available. Please wear appropriate clothing for messy making including close-toed shoes and tying long hair back.
Location
Art Studio, The art studio is situated at the top of a flight of stairs. Tools are all light and accessible. Work benches are not currently height adjustable.
Tutor
Sara Myers is a sculptor with a classical training. She works on commercial and her own Sculpture practice here in Milton Keynes and has taught Art at undergraduate level, and run life drawing and sculpture workshops alongside her practice for many years. www.saramyers.co.uk
