Who is this class suitable for?
Ages 16+
Suitable for all skill levels.
What will be covered in the class?
Join artist Sara Myers for this exciting life drawing workshop. The day will start with quick poses in the morning before moving to longer poses. Sara will be introducing several different optional exercises designed to help approach looking/drawing in a different way.
After a break, the class will have an open discussion analysing a particular artist or two while looking at some of the sketches. The second half of the workshop will focus on a long single pose of around 2 hours.

Materials are included.
Easels, sugar paper and charcoal will be provided.
What to bring?
You are welcome to bring materials you’d like to experiment with. Aprons are available. Please wear appropriate clothing for messy making including close-toed shoes and tying long hair back.
Location
Art Studio, The art studio is situated at the top of a flight of stairs. Tools are all light and accessible. Work benches are not currently height adjustable.
Tutor
Sara Myers has had a traditional academic training. She has a studio in Milton Keynes, where she continues her own artistic practice and several of her public sculptural commissions are local, in Wolverton, Lodge lake and Stony Stratford. Sara has taught Art and Design for undergraduate students, and currently runs workshops in life drawing, portraiture and modelling for adults. She is very experienced figurative sculptor and has sculpted over 20 figures for Madame Tussauds.
