What will be covered in the class?
With guidance from experienced jewellery tutor Clare Layton, students will explore types of enamel and resin and learn how to do colour tests to check the firing temp of the colours and their true finished colour. Using copper blanks, the students will practice sifting and masking.
Students will leave with 3 to 4 completed works during the first five weeks. If you choose to take part in the follow on course, you will make fewer but more detailed pieces.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to extend their knowledge of jewellery making as well as complete beginners.
