Suitable for complete beginners.
What will be covered in the class?
This day class is split into two sections, the morning will focus on speed drawing, looking at expression, experimentation and exercising your drawing muscles. The afternoon will compose of longer poses to practice what you’ve learned and develop your ideas further.
Graduates of this class will receive 10% off their next Drawing & Painting Course.
What’s included?
Life models will attend the session, materials and easels will be provided. If you have a preference of pencils, ink, charcoal or other media to draw with or preferred paper please ensure you bring this with you to class. Snacks and hot drinks are available from our café but students are advised to bring a packed lunch.
Tutor
Sara Myers has had a traditional academic training. She has a studio in Milton Keynes, where she continues her own artistic practice and several of her public sculptural commissions are local, in Wolverton, Lodge lake and Stony Stratford. Sara has taught Art and Design for undergraduate students, and currently runs workshops in life drawing, portraiture and modelling for adults. She is very experienced figurative sculptor and has sculpted over 20 figures for Madame Tussauds.
