Milton Keynes Arts Centre celebrates the heritage of MK and all of the people who now live here with an exhibition of around 40 ceramic money and suggestion boxes based on the houses of Beanhill and Netherfield: two of MK’s earliest estates. Each of the houses have been handmade and personalised by a local resident as part of our HOME project with Maddi Nicholson, which has been developed in collaboration with MK artists Ciara Callaghan and Alondene Phillips.

The houses will be on show in the Arts Centre on Saturday 17 September. There will be the opportunity to meet Maddi Nicholson and to create a miniature Great Linford in clay with Alondene Phillips.

Drop-in sessions start at 10.00, 10.45, 11.30, 12.15, 1.30, 2.15 and 3.00pm.

The café will be open throughout the day and North Bucks Woodturning Club will be displaying and selling their crafts.
