Suitable for all skill levels.
What will be covered in the class?
Within our specialist ceramics studio use press moulds to make two unique soap dishes from stoneware clay and decorate your work with coloured clay slips. On day two, you will blend essential oils and make soap bases before casting your own soaps from a selection of ready-made moulds, and completing your dishes with a coat of glaze. Your soaps can be taken home on the same day and your ceramic soap dishes will be ready for collection at a later date once glaze fired. Students will be sent home with a complete kit to carry on your practice for making soap at home, curated by your tutor.
