Everyone, all ages and abilities welcome*

What will we create in this workshop?
Join artist Alondene Philips as we create a Great Linford inspired tablecloth to feature in Harold Offeh’s EAT THE FEAST at Milton Keynes Gallery in July.

We will use a range of stencilling, fabric painting and printmaking techniques, to tell the stories of our local area. The resulting collaborative artwork will later be combined with others made across the city to make a collective map of Milton Keynes.

This unconventional map celebrates the fact that a place is not navigated by roads and paths alone, but also by the individual and collective memories and experiences of those who live there, as well as its curious visitors.

Her practice focusses on using print making and surface design techniques to explore different possibilities and push boundaries.
