Artist Kitty Finer introduces MK College students to her practice and themes of intergenerational storytelling. Displaying items of clothing once belonging to Kitty’s grandmother Jean, sharing stories and memories associated with each item.

Through exercises exploring the evolution of fashion and style, students are asked to talk about what era they think the clothes are from and who might have worn them.
Through open discussions around the modern phenomena of influencers, social media hype and clothing “drops”, students are asked to share their favourite brands and most memorable fashion hypes. This exercise will inform continued discussions and ideas in the process of being part of a new fashion label created by the students.
