What will be covered in the class?
Join Ceramist Lili John on a creative journey inspired by who or what may live at the end of the garden or in hedgerow.

Design and create mini fantasy sculptures from clay inspired by the abundance of nature around Milton Keynes Arts Centre which is situated in the heart of the 18th century Great Linford Manor Park.

Let the imagination run wild and see what transpires over the duration of the workshop.

Each student will use various hand build pottery skills such as pinching, coiling or slab building to make their pottery items. Their items will then be decorated using various surface decoration techniques.

What will children go home with?
After a relaxing couple of hours exploring their imagination, each participant will have made 1–2 pieces of work, which will be bisque fired in our kilns - to be collected at a later date.
What will I need to bring?
All tools and materials are included. Participants will need to wear clothing suitable clothing for getting messy and closed toed shoes.
