What will be covered in the class?
Join artist Julia Roach for this one day experimental watercolour painting course, aimed at those with intermediate to advanced watercolour skills. Through demonstrations, instruction and guidance, you will gain an understanding of ink and gouache as well as use resources found in your kitchen cupboard and garden.
Over the day a series of experimental studies will be created, some purely celebrating colour and textures and others based on organic forms. For the latter part of the day you will create at least two longer painting studies, incorporating the skills and approaches you have gained over the day on a larger scale.
