Yinka Ilori teamed up with pupils from Giffard Park Primary, Great Linford Primary and St Monica’s Catholic Primary schools to up-cycle abandoned chairs, taking inspiration from traditional Nigerian parables and the African fabrics that surrounded him as child. .

Together Yinka and the pupils will up-cycled unwanted, Age UK donated vintage furniture with stories influenced by Ilori’s archive of Nigerian parables and colourful collection of Dutch Wax fabrics.
A unique collaboration between artist and community, the children displayed their work at Milton Keynes Arts Centre throughout July 2016 in Do Good Because Of Tomorrow; an exhibition of new work by London based artist and designer Yinka Ilori.
