Parable Printing onto Tote Bags
22 July 2016, 10.30am–12pm

Inspired by themes running throughout artist Yinka Ilori's practice, participants will choose a parable to print onto a canvas tote bag, to wear as a meaningful reminder to others to Do Good Because of Tomorrow.

This workshop is free and is suitable for ages 6-12 and their families.


Ladi Kwali inspired ceramics with Andrew Macdermott
23 July 2016, 10.30am–12pm

Based on iconic Nigerian Potter Ladi Kwali's work, Young Pioneers will be led through a vase building workshop, decorating the surface of their ceramics with African motifs and animals including scorpions, lizards, crocodiles, chameleons, snakes, birds, and fish.

This workshop is free for families with children aged 6-12 years.
Calabash Painting with Yinka Ilori
29 July 2016, 10.30am–12pm

Join artist Yinka Ilori for a storytelling workshop, using narrative as a fun focus for design onto the surface of a calabash. Each participant will be provided with a traditional calabash bowl and a selection of narratives to chose from for their design. Participants are welcomed to discuss their designs with group before taking home.

This workshop is free for families with children aged 6-12 years.
