Saint Akua is a British-Ghanaian artist born in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Her journey as an artist began with her fascination with portraiture, and desire to paint hidden aspects of a person – capturing the unseen. She sketches and paints straight onto canvas inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites combined with symbolism from her Ghanaian heritage.
