Please read our Booking Terms and Conditions below carefully before booking.

What will be covered in the class?
An intensive day of making silver pendants using the traditional method of cuttlefish casting in our bespoke jewellery studio. During this day course, you will work to create a design that is carved into the surface of the cuttlefish to create a mould, before molten metal is poured in to create your final cast object. Master silversmith Clare Layton will guide you through step by step processes, from design to completion of your treasured memento, or the perfect gift.

Who is this class suitable for?
This class is aimed at adults (16+) and suitable for all levels of ability.

What’s included?
All tools and materials are included. Lunch is not included; hot drinks and snacks can be purchased from our on-site café.

What to bring?
If you have an existing pendant you would like to duplicate, or small object you would like to cast, please bring this along. We would recommend choosing a design or object that is within 3cm x 3cm.

You are encouraged to bring any of your own silversmith tools if you have a preference.

Please wear appropriate clothing including close-toed shoes and tying long hair back.
