In response to Government advice regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19) and in consideration of the welfare of our community, Milton Keynes Arts Centre has made the sad decision to close as of Tuesday 17 March. We will be monitoring and reviewing the situation on a weekly basis and will provide updates here of our plans to reopen. Please note that all participants booked on our Jan–April creative courses have been contacted to advise of cancellations and refunds, see below for more details.
This is a difficult time for all arts organisations. Instead of claiming refunds on tickets, we ask you to consider donating the ticket cost to Milton Keynes Arts Centre to ensure that our work with artists and communities may continue beyond the current crisis.
We recognise that many individuals in our community will be isolated over the coming weeks. We will continue to think of ways we can connect with you all, and to provide ways for you to engage with, and participate in, art.
We have launched a Digital Programme of arts activities and resources for families, young people, artists and creatives of all ages. Find out more here
Thank you for your continued support and understanding, from all at Milton Keynes Arts Centre.
Creative Cources – Customer notice
We appreciate your patience at this time and understand that our Creative Courses are vital to many of our users, we are working hard to ensure we will be able to reopen with the support of our amazing tutors in a safe and healthy manner.
Our courses operate outside of our Arts Council England funding and are instead completely reliant on bookings. Therefore the cost of refunding all places would be financially devastating to us so we are asking participants to seriously consider rescheduling your class or donating the cost of the course rather than requesting a refund. In exchange you will be invited to a celebratory donor event when the situation has resolved.
