What will be covered in the class?
Make your own games characters out of clay, inspired by Among Us and Roblox: Adopt Me Pets, with ceramic artist Andrew Macdermott. Using real stoneware clay, you will learn techniques to form and shape the clay before adding detail using specialist pottery tools. Once you’ve got these basic ceramic techniques under your belt, you can continue to practice using pinch pot methods to create all sorts of ceramic pieces at home – let your imagination go wild!
Once your clay is completely dry, use a combination of acrylic paint and PVA glue to seal and decorate your work.
