We are booking up to 12 people on this course, on the understanding that from 21 June all social distancing measures will be relaxed. If this is not the case, we will ask the last 6 people who joined to transfer onto the next available course.

What will be covered in the class?
Over this five week course, participants will use hand building techniques, slab and coil building and throwing to create something for a specific space indoors or outside. Artist leader Lizzie Westray will support learners through experimentation with form, scale, texture and using clay slips to apply colour before firing.

In an effort to make our site more environmentally friendly, we will be restricting kiln firings to a maximum of 6kg (raw clay) of work per student per term.
Students should bring a small sketchbook and pencil.
