Susan Erskine-Jones
Join artist Susan-Erskine Jones for this 10-week course exploring themes art and nature. Susan will be encouraging an awareness and appreciation of natural world through creativity to support wellbeing; taking inspiration from, and using materials found in the calming surroundings of Milton Keynes Arts Centre and grounds of Great Linford Manor Park.
Over the 10 weeks, Susan shall also be introducing other artists, so providing opportunities for participants to get hands-on experience of making ceramics, books, textiles and natural dyes; as well as of working with collage, printmaking, painting and drawing.
About the Artist
Susan Erskine-Jones is a painter, printmaker and art tutor with ten years’ experience in delivering mixed media workshops to students of all ages. Her interest is in overlooked objects and the common place.
Who is this course for?
The programme is particularly designed to support young people ages 12–17, in the Milton Keynes area who may be feeling the effects of the pandemic upon their physical and mental wellbeing.
*Please note some facilities are located up a flight of stairs and are not wheelchair accessible.
